The following error message is being thrown after installing SmartFill and trying to launch Dynamics GP.
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GPXX\SmrtFill.cnk’ is denied.
at System.IO._Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite, Boolean checkHost)
at System.IO.File.Copy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite)
at FoundationProducts.frmMain.Install(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)
When the SmrtFill,exe file and/or Dynamics GP are right-clicked on and ran as administrator.
Be sure to right-click on the SmrtFill.exe and chose to ‘Run as Administrator’. You will also need to do this when launching Dynamics GP.
