eXtreme CRM 2014 Recap

Oct 20, 2014

I recently attended the 2014 eXtreme CRM conference in Las Vegas where Microsoft Dynamics CRM Resellers, ISVs, and Users shared their knowledge and passion for Dynamics CRM.

If I had to recap the conference in just two words, it would be Cloud and Mobility. Microsoft executives were part of the opening and closing keynote sessions and shared that they have a target of meeting a 95% year to year growth for Dynamics CRM online. Just last year, the CRM online business grew by 60%.

Microsoft shared the three main pillars in their Microsoft Dynamics CRM strategy: Office 365, Azure, and Dynamics Business Applications (CRM online).

They also shared a few of the main features that users will see in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015:

  • 29 new languages
  • Enhanced business processes
  • Ability to create Custom Help for your users
  • CRM online administration enhancements
  • Enhanced business rules
  • A more robust mobile sales
  • Better search functionality across different record types
  • Security enhancements
  • Improved sales and marketing collaboration
  • An email editor

In closing, they left partners with three call-to-actions to help attain their desired CRM online growth target: expand your Microsoft Dynamics CRM focus, talk sales productivity now, and gear up with technical readiness.

Overall, the event was a success with excitement building for the coming release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015.
