Here at Rockton we like to celebrate all things, big and small, that bring joy to our lives. We thought it would be fun to share our March celebrations with you and hopefully spread the joy around! Here are a few things the Rockton family celebrated this month.
Celebrating Jim’s 19 years with Rockton!

I appreciate working with Jim because as a developer he is very customer-focused on how he develops a feature. He wants it to be as user-friendly and easy to use as possible. This makes for happy customers. On a personal level, I enjoy working with Jim because he is goofy and fun and very kind.”
Celebrating Sheila’s 9 years at Rockton!

I’m celebrating the end of a wonderful ski season and the start of spring (mountain biking season)!

April is one of my favorite months, my children and I celebrated April 1st by welcoming a new addition to our family.
The second thing I absolutely love about April here in Minnesota, is the birds are chirping again, lots of rain to wash away any remaining snow, salt, and sand that accumulated over the winter, the grass and trees are turning green again and flowers start to bloom!

I think my favorite season of the year is Spring. And to me, no month is more springy, then April. I love the chilly mornings, and then the burgeoning of flowers as they start to blossom. Or a nice afternoon rain shower. Also, as a fan of sports, it’s the kickoff of baseball season, as well as the playoffs for both NHL and NBA, and later in the month is the NFL, which I nerdily love. But I think my biggest celebration for the month is it’s the birthday for both my mom and brother. My brother was supposed to be on the same day as her, but graciously waited 4 days.

This month I celebrated my dad’s 50th birthday!! He is my best friend and biggest supporter so celebrating him is easy. Fun Fact: he was the one who found the posting for my current job, sent it to me, and encouraged me to apply!

The arrival of spring in North Dakota fills me with excitement as the melting snow and longer daylight hours signal that warmer days are near. It means I can start spending more time outside, grilling dinner, going for walks or attempting to keep my flowers and garden alive. But one thing I love to do is cheer on friends and family at the softball, baseball, or soccer fields. It’s so fun to see the kids improve each year and it’s a perfect excuse to hang out and catch up with friends, family and neighbors!

Grateful for April! I am very grateful to be spending Spring in Colorado this year. The warm sunshine, the green grass, the birds chirping, the nice warm sunny days. One of my favorite morning routines, is to open the front door and have the sunshine coming into the house to warm it up. Simple pleasures to make me smile! I just want to curl up on the floor like my furry pets and enjoy the warm sunshine.

I’m celebrating travel and time to relax, enjoy amazing food (without having to do the prep or clean-up. BONUS!), the warmth of the sun, the sound of the waves, the sunrise and a feeling of being refreshed.
