Project Cost Web Suite Portal Will Not Display – Logon Window is Blank

This article replaces TK00140.

Error:

When attempting to open the Web Suite portal window after installing Project Cost, the portal will not display or the logon window is blank.

Cause:

Domain group NETWORK SERVICE needs added in pcWebSuite Properties.

Resolution:

Add domain group NETWORK SERVICE.

1. Right-click on the pcWebSuite folder and select Properties.
2. Select the Security tab and click Edit.
3. Click Add.
4. Enter the name ‘NETWORK SERVICE’ and click Check Names.
5. Click OK.
6. Verify the group has the following permissions.
   • Read & execute
   • List folder contents
   • Read
7. Click Apply and then OK.
8. Click OK.
