Another Community Summit has come and gone and we are left with warmed hearts from seeing our community come together and so much excitement for what’s to come. Read on to hear what our team was up to all week and don’t miss another epic Rockton music video that played during the general session!
Mark’s Insights…
I had a great time reconnecting with dear friends I’ve not seen in years. It’s exciting to see the energy of Dynamics GP still alive and well. It was also fun to watch people light up with our coloring panel – although quite a few people missed the color-by-number and just did their own thing, which made little difference at all, although uncomfortable for those accounting A-Types that follow all the rules. Our $2 bill giveaway for RPM was a hit and sparked many conversations, especially for the handful of people that have never seen one before. The conference food I had was better than most conferences (no easy feat) and the PowerGP Party was as epic as ever. Long live GP!
Kelli’s Favorite Moments…
It was great to begin our Summit experience with standing room only for our Partner Showcase session.
We had 3 great days in our booth. It’s always exciting when someone who doesn’t know of Rockton has an “ah ha!” in the moment by watching our quick demo of SmartFill, Auditor, GP Toolbox. This year, we really captured interest around our banner “Got Pricing Problems?” showcasing Rockton Pricing Management. Many were delighted to receive a $2 bill with a call out to save both time and money using RPM – we gave away over 100 bills.
The evening activities did not disappoint with a party sponsored by Cavallo and Avalara, an evening at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and closing out with the always fun PowerGP Online party. The highlight of the week for me was connecting with so many friends from the channel . . . too many to list but boy it sure was great reconnecting and getting caught up on what’s new in their world. After all these years, the heartbeat of GP carries on. . .
Jenn’s Highlights…
Attending the Summit always feels like a cherished family reunion for me. It’s that one time of the year when I can reconnect with most of my closest GP friends and family while also making new connections, all in the same place. I never tire of demonstrating our products to potential customers, knowing that they will make their workload easier. Equally satisfying is hearing from our customers and partners about their positive experiences with our products and their collaboration with us. During the event, I had the opportunity to attend the GP General Session and “GP’s Future So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades,” where Terry Heley showcased over 10 new features introduced in the recent 18.6 GP release. The unwavering love and passion of GP Customers, Partners, and ISVs for the GP community continue to shine year after year. I was also thrilled to announce that we’ve expanded the features of Rockton Pricing Manage and now offer it for BC as well!
Blake’s “First Timer” Takeaways…
I had a blast at my first Community Summit conference! It was great to meet so many faces I had only ever seen on Teams meetings, emails, and LinkedIn. It was even better to be able to work with people who weren’t familiar with our products. Seeing people’s jaw-drop reaction to SmartFill, Auditor, Toolbox, and RPM is so rewarding. I am so proud to be part of a team that builds solutions that work so well for our customers.
And who knew there would be an impromptu push up contest. I won’t give away the winner, let’s just say arms got a work out.
