It probably will be us, but our egos are not too huge to realize that you might find a different resource in the future to better serve your needs. Or maybe the developer who codes your solution gets mauled by a rhino in a freak accident. Why worry? With the code in hand, you can take your source code to anyone else who works with Dexterity for help.

The Future of Dexterity Development

You might be wondering why anyone would invest in Dexterity development today, given the roadmap Microsoft has provided showing an eventual migration to a unified brand written on .NET technologies. The choice is simple. As of today, .NET is really a .NOT. Yes, that is changing, but the panic to stop using Dexterity and focus on .NET was announced in 2001. We have yet to see the demand for Dexterity services slow down. In fact, it is rising. Why? Over 28,000 companies still use or invest in Great Plains for their ERP system.
