Rockton Software was started in 1999, when Mark Rockwell left a prominent Seattle-area Great Plains reseller to break out on his own as a consultant, specializing in Dexterity customizations for the Great Plains channel. As many people wonder, Rockton is a combination of Mark Rockwell’s last name with his wife’s, Kelli Sexton (with the alternative name combinations reserved for other lines of business). Business quickly grew as a result of Mark’s reputation for complete custom solutions and great customer service. Out of customizations provided for clients, Crystal Integration was born in 2000. It quickly caught on in popularity with many customers in the Great Plains channel. Soon after, in 2001, Lookup Plus and Pro were created out of an obvious need to improve the data entry hassles of Great Plains. After our initial success, it was decided that Rockton would focus less on customizations and more on value added enhancements that were simple in nature, brought value to end users, and were easy to support. To accomplish this goal, Rockton grew out of its one-man-shop origin and hired its first employee. Rockton now boasts a full virtual office with professionals to assist with custom development, sales support, and technical support. Rockton has built its reputation on great customer service, and as we continue to grow our business and our offerings, our commitment to customer service remains our top priority. |
